简介:TheBe-basedmaterialswithmanyparticularpropertiesleadtoanimportantresearchsubject.Theinvestigationprogressesinthefabricationtechnologiesareintroducedhere,includingmainthreekindsofBe-basedmaterials,suchasBe–Cucapsule,Be_2Cablatorandhigh-purityBematerial.ComparedwiththepioneerworkgrouponBe-basedmaterials,thedifferencesinBe–Cutargetfabricationweredescribed,andagrainrefinementtechniquebyanactivehydrogenreactionforBecoatingwasproposeduniquely.Be_2CcoatingswerefirstpreparedbytheDCreactivemagnetronsputteringwithahighdepositionrate(~300nm/h).PurepolycrystallineBe_2Cfilmswithuniformmicrostructures,smoothsurface,highdensity(~2.2g·cm~3)andgoodopticaltransparencywerefabricated.Inaddition,thehigh-purityBematerialswithmetalimpuritiesinappmmagnitudewerefabricatedbythepyrolysisoforganometallicBe.

简介:Powdermetallurgy(PM)superalloysareanimportantclassofhightemperaturestructuralmaterials,keytotherotatingcomponentsofaeroengines.InthepurviewofthepresentchallengesassociatedwithPMsuperalloys,twonovelapproachesnamely,powderpreparationandtheinnovativespray-formingtechnique(formakingturbinedisk)areproposedandstudied.Subsequently,advancedtechnologieslikeelectrode-induction-meltinggasatomization(EIGA),andspark-plasmadischargespheroidization(SPDS)areintroduced,forceramic-freesuperalloypowders.Presently,newprocessingroutesaresoughtafterforpreparingfinerandcleanerrawpowdersfordisksuperalloys.Theprogressofresearchinspray-formedPMsuperalloysisfirstsummarizedindetail.Thespray-formedsuperalloydisksspecificallyexhibitexcellentmechanicalproperties.ThispaperreviewstherecentprogressininnovativetechnologiesforPMsuperalloys,withanemphasisonnewideasandapproaches,centraltotheinnovationdrivingtechniqueslikepowderprocessingandsprayforming.

简介:Thehighrepetitionrate10J/10nsYb:YAGlasersystemanditskeytechniquesarereported.Theamplifiersinthissystemhaveamulti-passV-shapestructureandtheheatintheamplifiersisremovedbymeansoflaminarwaterflow.Inthemainamplifier,thelaserisfour-pass,andanapproximately8.5J/1Hz/10nsoutputisachievedintheprimarytest.Thefar-fieldoftheoutputbeamisapproximately10timesthediffractionlimit.Becauseofthehigherlevelsofamplifiedspontaneousemission(ASE)inthemainamplifier,theoutputenergyislowerthanexpected.Attheendwediscusssomemeasuresthatcanimprovethepropertiesofthelasersystem.

简介:Duringthepastyear,biophysicsgroupatInstituteofModernPhysics(IMP)obtainedlotsofachievementsintheresearchofheavy-ionmutationbreedingandproductionchainofsweetsorghum.Infundamentalresearchfield,amutantpopulationofArabidopsisthalianainducedbycarbonionbeamradiationwasestablishedinM2generation.Thetotalmutationratewas4.77%.Amutantmarked197#,whichhadfrostbite-like,palegreen,wrinkledandunevenleavesanddisplayedloosebractsandlatematuration,wasobtainedandreportedforthefirsttime.Generoughmappingresultsdemonstratedthatthereweretwomutationsitesinthe1stand4thchromosomeof197#mutant,indicatingheavyionradiationmightinducemorecomplicatedmutationsbeyondourcurrentrecognition.Thewholegenomeresequencingofthismutantisstillinprogress.Inaddition,high-yieldstrainsofmicrobeswhichhavepotentialvalueforcommercialapplication,suchasCorynebacteriumglutamicumandLacbobacillusthermophiles,werescreenedusingheavy-ionmutationtechnique.
