简介:Thefeaturesofthecharacteristicmatrixusedinlinearintensitycorrelationreconstructionmethodsaredirectlyrelatedtothequalityofghostimaging.Inordertosuppressthenoisecausedbytheoff-diagonalelementsinthecharacteristicmatrix,weproposeareconstructionmethodforghostimagingcalledscalar-matrix-structuredghostimaging(SMGI).Thecharacteristicmatrixismadetoapproximateascalarmatrixbymodifyingthemeasurementmatrix.ExperimentalresultsshowthatSMGIimprovesthepeaksignal-to-noiseratiooftheobjectreconstructionsignificantlycomparedwithdifferentialghostimaging,eveninthecaseofanonzerotwo-armlongitudinaldifference,whichisapromisingresultforpracticalapplications.

简介:Awoofer–tweeteradaptiveopticalstructuredilluminationmicroscope(AOSIM)ispresented.Bycombiningalow-spatial-frequencylarge-strokedeformablemirror(woofer)withahigh-spatial-frequencylow-strokedeformablemirror(tweeter),weareabletoremovebothlarge-amplitudeandhigh-orderaberrations.Inaddition,usingthestructuredilluminationmethod,ascomparedtowidefieldmicroscopy,theAOSIMcanaccomplishhighresolutionimagingandpossessesbettersectioningcapability.TheAOSIMwastestedbycorrectingalargeaberrationfromatriallensintheconjugateplaneofthemicroscopeobjectiveaperture.TheexperimentalresultsshowthattheAOSIMhasapointspreadfunctionwithanFWHMthatis140nmwide(usingawaterimmersionobjectivelenswithNA=1.1)aftercorrectingalargeaberration(5.9μmpeak-to-valleywavefronterrorwith2.05μmRMSaberration).Afterstructuredlightilluminationisapplied,theresultsshowthatweareabletoresolvetwobeadsthatareseparatedby145nm,1.62×belowthediffractionlimitof235nm.Furthermore,wedemonstratetheapplicationoftheAOSIMinthefieldofbioimaging.Thesampleunderinvestigationwasagreen-fluorescentprotein-labeledDrosophilaembryo.Theaberrationsfromtherefractiveindexmismatchbetweenthemicroscopeobjective,theimmersionfluid,thecoverslip,andthesampleitselfarewellcorrected.UsingAOSIMwewereabletoincreasetheSNRforourDrosophilaembryosampleby5×.

简介:Naturalsurfaceswithsuperhydrophobicpropertiesoftenhavemicroorhierarchicalstructures.Inthispaper,thewettingbehavioursofasingledropletonbiomimeticmicrostructuredsurfaceswithdifferentroughnessparametersareinvestigated.Atheoreticalmodelisproposedtostudywettingtransitions.Theresultsoftheoreticalanalysisarecomparedwiththoseofexperimentindicatingthattheproposedmodelcaneffectivelypredictthewettingtransition.Furthermore,anumericalsimulationbasedonthemesoscaleLatticeBoltzmannMethod(LBM)isperformedtostudydynamiccontactangles,contactlines,andlocalvelocityfieldsforthecasethatadropletdisplaysonthemicrostructuredsurface.Asphericalwaterdropletwithrs=15μmfallsdowntoabiomimeticsquare-postpatternedsurfaceundertheforceofgravitywithaninitialvelocityof0.01m·s-1andaninitialverticaldistanceof20μmfromdropletcentretothetopofpots.Inspiteofahigherinitialvelocity,thedropletcanstillstayinaCassiestate;moreover,itreachesanequilibriumstateatt≈17.5ms,whencontactangleis153.16°whichisslightlylowerthanthepredictionofCassie-Baxter’sequationwhichgivesθCB=154.40°.

简介:High-strengthsteelshavebeenattractingmoreandmoreattentionofpeople,Unfortunately.deteriorationofductilitylimitedtheirapplications.Tosolvethisproblem,anano-structuredstainlesssteelsheetisdevelopedtocombinehighstrengthandhighductility.Processingofthesurfacemechanicalattritiontreatment(SMAT)wasintroducedtoobtainanano-grainlayeronthedoublesurfaceofthestainlesssteelsheet.Themicrostructureofthenanostructuredsteelsheetischaracterizedbyanalternatedistributionofcoarsegrainedlayerandnanocrystallinelayer.Thenthedualsurfacenano-crystallizedstainlesssteelsheetswereco-warmrolledat500℃.Theexperimentalresultsrevealthatthemechanicalpropertiesofthenanostructuredsteelexhibithighyieldstrengthintherangeof700-950MPaandtensilestrengthhigherthan930MPa.Moreover,elongationtofracturereachesto15%-48%,togetherwithauniformelongationstabilizedto13%-45%.

简介:AnewmethodologyofvoiceconversionincepstrumeigenspacebasedonstructuredGaussianmixturemodelisproposedfornon-parallelcorporawithoutjointtraining.Foreachspeaker,thecepstrumfeaturesofspeechareextracted,andmappedtotheeigenspacewhichisformedbyeigenvectorsofitsscattermatrix,therebytheStructuredGaussianMixtureModelintheEigenSpace(SGMM-ES)istrained.Thesourceandtargetspeaker’sSGMM-ESarematchedbasedonAcousticUniversalStructure(AUS)principletoachievespectrumtransformfunction.Experimentalresultsshowthespeakeridentificationrateofconversionspeechachieves95.25%,andthevalueofaveragecepstrumdistortionis1.25whichis0.8%and7.3%higherthantheperformanceofSGMMmethodrespectively.ABXandMOSevaluationsindicatetheconversionperformanceisquiteclosetothetraditionalmethodundertheparallelcorporacondition.TheresultsshowtheeigenspacebasedstructuredGaussianmixturemodelforvoiceconversionunderthenon-parallelcorporaiseffective.
