Wereportthedirectfabricationofamicrofluidicchipcomposedoftwohigh-aspectratiomicrofluidicchannelswithlengthsof3.5cmand8mminaglasssubstratebyfemtosecondlasermicromachining.Thefabricationmainlyconsistsoftwosteps:1)writingmicrochannelsandmicrochambersinaporousglassbyscanningatightlyfocusedlaserbeam;2)high-temperatureannealingoftheglasssampletocollapseallthenanoporesintheglass.Migrationofderivatizedaminoacidsisobservedinthemicrofluidicchannelbyapplyingelectricvoltageacrossthelong-migrationmicrochannel.
