简介:AtFermilab'sCDFfarmamodularandhighlyscalablesoftwareandcontrolsystemforprocessing,reprocessing,MonteCarlogenerationandmanyothertaskshasbeencreated.ThesystemiscalledFPS(FarmProcessingSystem).Thissystemconsistsofindependentsoftwarecomponentsandallowsmodificationstosuitothertypesofprocessingaswell.FPSisaccompaniedwithfullyfeaturedmonitoringandcontrolinterfaces,includingwebstatisticsdisplaysandamultiplatformJavacontrolinterfacethatalloweasymanagementandcontrol.Thesystemalsofeaturesautomaticerrorrecoveryprocedureswithearlywarningsthatallowsmoothrunning.Ageneraloverviewofthesoftwaredesingalongwithadescriptionofthefeaturesandlimitationsofthesystemanditscomponentswillbepresented.Run2experiencewiththesystemwillbegiveraswell.

简介:TheMOSIXextensionstotheLinuxOperatingSystemallowthecreationofhigh-performanceLinuxFarmsandanexcellentintegrationoftheseveralCPUsoftheFarm,whosecomputationalpowercanbefurtherlyinereasedandmademoreeffectivebynetorkingthemwithintheGRIDenvironment.Followingthisstrategy,westartedtoperformcomputationaltestsusingtwoindependentfarrmswithintheGRIDenvironment.Inparticular,weperformedapreliminaryevaluationofthedistributedcomputingefficiencywithaMOSIXLinuxfarminthesimulationofgravitationalwavesdataanalysisfromcoalescingbinaries.Tothistask,twodifferenttechniqueswerecompared.theclassicalmatchedfilterstechniqueandoneofitspossibleevolutions,basedonaglobaloptimisationtechnique.
简介:Comparedwithtraditionalsynchronousgenerators,windturbinegeneratorsaredifferentinelectricitygenerationprinciples,controlmodesandintegrationtopologies,whichmakestheirfaultcharacteristicschangealot.This,consequently,bringschallengesregardingthebehaviorofprotectionsforwindfarmcollectorsystems.Inthispaper,basedonapracticalwindfarm,configurationandsettingofrelayprotectionsforsuchacollectorsystemisanalyzedanddeterminedsystematicallyinconsiderationoftheselectivityandsensitivityoftheprotections.Resultsshowthatmisoperationofovercurrentrelayandzerosequenceovercurrentrelayofthenon-faultcollectorlineoccurs,andbusdifferentialrelayofcollectorbuscannotremovethesingle-phase-to-groundfault.Inordertosolvetheproblems,anovelsubstation-areaprotectionforcollectorsystemisproposedanditsoperationmechanismisdiscussed.
