Inabiasedphotorefractivecrystal,theprocessoftwoone-dimensionalwavesmixing,i.e.,thedynamicalevolutionofbothpumpbeamandsignalbeam,istracedbynumericallysolvingthecoupled-waveequation.Directsimulationsshowthatthepropagationandstabilityofthetwobeamsarecompletelydeterminedbythesystemparameters,suchastheexternalbiasfield,theintensityandthebeamwaistofthepumpbeam.Byadjustingtheseparameters,onecancontrolthestateoftwoGaussianwavesmixing.Thenumericalresultsarehelpfulforperformingatwo-wavemixingexperiment.
