Objective:Tofindoutthebasicconditionsofmycosisinfectionoffull-termpregnantwomen.Methods:Fungusisolationandidentificationfromthevaginalsecretionsandoralspecimensfrom208full-termpregnantwomenwerecarriedoutbyfungicultureandidentifiedfollowingstandardbiologicalpractice.Results:Thepositivedetectionrateforvaginalfungiwas51.92%andfororalfungiitwas47.59%.20.19%hadfungiinboththevaginalandoralcavity.ThefungifoundweremainlyofthespeciesCandidaalbicans.Conclusion:Theprevalenceoffungalmycosisinfectioninfull-termpregnantwomenwashigherthanthatusuallyfoundinnon-pregnantwomen.Inordertopreventfurthercomplicationsandmateral-childtransmission,seriousattentionshouldbepaidtothishighprevalencefinding.
