Usingaspecialconstantdeflectiondevice,thechangesindislocationconfigurationaheadofaloadedcracktipfor60Fe40Nialloy,beforeandaftermagnetizationinamagneticfield,havebeenstudiedinTEM.Theresultsshowedthatthemagnetizationfor60Fe40Nialloycouldenhancedislocationemission,multiplicationandmotion.Also,themechanicalpropertiesof60Fe40Nialloy,inairandinthemagneticfieldrespectively,havebeeninvestigatedusingtheslowstrainratetension.Andtheresultsindicatedthatmagnetizationcouldmaketheyieldstrengthcorrespondingtodecreaseby26percent,butdidnotinfluencetheultimatetensilestrengthandthefracturestrain,whichshowedthatmagnetizationcouldenhanceplasticdeformation.
