ByusingtheReynoldsStressClosureModel(RSM),turbulentCounter-Gradient-Transport(CGT)phenomenonwasnumericallyinvestigatedinasymmetricflowwithajet,andthecomputationalresultswerecomparedwithexperimentaldata.ThecomputationalresultsshowthatthenegativeturbulentenergyproductiononlyappearsatsomecertainstationsinCGTregion,thisfactindicatesthattheCGTphenomenonexistsmorewidelythanthenegativeturbulentenergyproduction;whiletheCGTregionexistsallalong,itgraduallyshrinksinthefavorablepressuregradientzoneuntilthepositionofthewingcentralpartisreached,whereitvanishes,butitappearsintheadversepressuregradientregion;inaddition,thelocationintheflowwhereuv=0switchedsides,relativetowhere()U/()y=0,fromfavorablepressuregradienttoadversepressuregradient.ThepressuregradienttakesanimportanteffectontheregionofnegativeturbulentenergyproductionandCGT.
