ThecurrentcomputingenvironmentofourComputingCenterinIHEPusesaSAS(serverAttachedStorage)architecture,attachingallthestoragedevicesdirectlytothemachines.Thiskindofstoragestrategycan'tmeettherequirementofourBEPCII/BESⅢprojectproperly.ThuswedesignandimplementaSAN-basedcomputingenvironment,whichconsistsofseveralcomputingfarms,athree-levelstoragepool,asetofstoragemanagementsoftwareandaweb-baseddatamanagementsystem.Thefeatureofourssystemincludescross-platformdatasharing,fastdataaccess,highscalability,convenientstoragemanagementanddatamanagement.
