Separationtechnologyofrareearthelements(REEs),asthecriticalstepintheseparationprocess,hadlongbeenfraughtwithtechnicaldifficulty.AresearchprojectconductedbyBaotouShiboRareEarthExtraction&EquipmentCo.Ltd.,BaotouREEResearchInstitute,andBaotouSteel&REEGroupHi-TechCo.Ltd(InnerMongolia),hassuccessfullysolvedtheproblemusingacentrifugalextractorandadvancedtechniquestoachieveakeybreakthrough.ThekeydeviceofthewholeproductionlinecontainsCTL-500FBcentrifugalextractorsanddigitalflowsystemequipment.Employmentofanautomaticcontrollingsystemanditsfullyfunctionaloperationsystem,alongwithvarioussupportivefacilities,fulfilstheseparationprocessesforvariousrareearthmaterials.Comparedwithconventionalbox-typeseparationtechnology,thisnewapproachsignificantlyimprovesthestirringintensity,thusimprovingproduction
