Microfibrilledcellulose(MFC)isanewkindofnanoscalecellulosefunctionalmaterials,havingbroadapplicationprospectsinmanyfieldslikefood,medicine,cosmetic,paint,paperandpulpengineering,compositematerials,etal.TheresearchonMFChasbeenextensivelyconductedforthepast30yearsinsomedevelopedcountries,andevensomerelevantproductshaveappearedinthemarket.Onthecontrast,similarstudiesinChinawereratherlimited.ThispaperfirstlyintroducedthepropertiesandapplicationofMFCbriefly,andthengavemoredetaileddescriptiononthepreparationtechnologyofMFCanditsimportantperformanceindexes.SeveralsuggestionsonthefuturestudyonMFCwerealsoproposed.
