Evolution of the deformation and stress patterns of the East Asia continent under multi-driving force*

摘要 TheIndiaplate(scontinuousmotiontothenorth,theconvectiveremovaltothethickeninglithospherecausedbysmall-scalemantleconvectionandtheeffectofdenudationontheupliftedplateauareregardedasmaindrivingforcesthatmakethepatternsofstressfieldofEastAsiacontinentatpresenttime.ThemethodofnumericalsimulationisusedtostudythedeformationandthestressfieldofEastAsiacontinentunderdifferentboundaryconditions,differentdenudationcoefficientsanddifferentrockmechanicsparameterswithinatrapezoidgeologicalframe.Comparingwiththeresultsobtainedbymodernspacegeodetictechnique(suchasGPS)theresultsderivedfromseismologicaldatashowthatthepredicteddatabyourmodelcanfitthemverywell.Thedegreeofthefitnessinthewestisbetterthanthatintheeast.TheseresultsimplythatthemaindrivingforceofthedeformationandthestresspatternsofthewestpartofEastAsiacontinentmaycomefromthecollisionandcompressionbetweentheIndiaandtheEurasiaplates.TheinteractiontothePacificandthePhilippinesplatesintheeastpartneedtobeconsidered.Italsoshowsthattheconvectiveremovaltothethickeninglithospherecausedbysmall-scalemantleconvectionandtheeffectofdenudationcannotbenegligibleintheevolutionofthestresspatterns.
