Geochemistry of the Caledonian Basic Volcanic Rocks at the South Margin of the Qinling Orogenc Belt,and Its Tectonic Implications

摘要 ThegeochemistryofthebasicvolcanicrocksatthesouthmarginoftheQinlingorogenicbelt(SMQOB)suggeststhattheywereformedinanintraplatetectonicsetting.TheREEdistributionpatternsshowtheserocksarestronglyenrichedinLREEwithhigh∑REE,andtheirtraceelementsgeochemistryissimilartothatofcontimentalfloodbasalt.AlltheaboveevidencesuggeststhattheCaledonianbasicvolcanicrocksintheSMQOBweretholeiiticbasaltsformedinanintraplatespreading-initialrifttectonicsetting.Thecharacteristicsofregionalgeologyandgeochemistryindicatethattherewasanintraplatespreading-rifttectonicsettingbetweentheSouthQinglingblockandtheYangtzeblockintheCaledonianepoch.ThedynamicspreadinginthisdistrictbeganintheEarlyCaledonianandthentheintraplatespreadinginitialriftswereformedintheLateCaledonian.AsaresultofspreadingoftheTethysandgeodynamicprocessesindeepmantle,theMianlue-HuashanoceanicbasinwasformedbetweentheQinlingblockandtheYangtzeblockinDevonian,andtheQinlingmicroplatewasseparatedfromthenorthernpartoftheYangtzeplate.
