摘要
Withdevelopmentofmoderngeoscience,particularlydevelopmentofenvironmentalsciences,thecontemporarysoilscienceisundergoinggreatchangesinbothresearchcontentsandscope.Soilisnotonlyacertainsubstanceoracertainindependentnaturalhistoricalbodybutalsoasphericlayerwithpeculiarstructureandfunctionsintheearthsystem.Fromtheviewpointofthegeo-biospheresystemofearth,soilsciencedoesdealnotonlywiththesoilsubstancespersebutalsomoreimportantlywiththerelationshipsamongsoil,theotherspheresandthehumansurvivalenvironmentinviewofthe"pedosphere",Thisistheneworientationofsoilsciencetodayandwillaffectprofoundlythestudiesonthehumansurvivalenvironmentandglobalchanges,Tothrowmorelightonthissubject,thepresentpaperintendstoaddresstheconceptionofpedosphereanditsroleinglobalchanges,AlsoaddressedareseriesofenvironmentalissuesinChinaandtheirrelationstotheglobalchanges.Moreover,researchorientationandprioritiesareindicated,includingexploitationandprotectionofthesoilresources,soilfertilityandsustainableagriculturaldevelopment,constructionoftheecologicalenvironment,andthematerialcyclinginpedosphereanditsrelationtoglobalchanges.
