摘要
Thispaperfocusesontheflowcharacteristicandlocalresistanceofnon-Newtonianpowerlawfluidinacurved90°bendpipewithcircularcross-sections,whicharewidelyusedinindustrialapplications.Byemployingnumericalsimulationandtheoreticalanalysisthepropertiesoftheflowandlocalresistanceofpowerlawfluidunderdifferentworkingconditionsareobtained.ToexplorethechangeruletheexperimentiscarriedoutbychangingtheReynoldsnumber,thewallroughnessanddifferentdiameterratioofelbowpipe.ThevariationofthelocalresistancecoefficientwiththeReynoldsnumber,thediameterratioandthewallroughnessispresentedcomprehensivelyinthepaper.TheresultsshowthatthelocalresistanceforcecoefficienthardlychangeswithReynoldsnumberofthepowerlawfluid;thewallroughnesshasasignificantimpactonthelocalresistancecoefficient.Asthepipewallroughnessincreasing,thecoefficientoflocalresistanceforcewillincrease.Themainreasonoftheinfluenceoftheroughnessonthelocalresistancecoefficientistheincreaseoftheeddycurrentregioninthepowerlawfluidflow,whichincreasesthekineticenergydissipationofthemainflow.Thispaperprovidestheoreticalandnumericalmethodstounderstandthelocalresistancepropertyofnon-Newtonianpowerlawfluidinelbowpipes.
