摘要
Adoublemutantwithstreakedleafandabnormalfloretwasfoundandtemporarilynamedstreakedleafandfloralorgannumbermutant(st-fon).Forthismutant,besideswhitestreakappearedonculm,leavesandpanicles,thenumberoffloralorgansincreasedandfloretscracked.Theextremephenotypewasthatseveralsmallfloretsgrewfromonefloretorbranchrachisinsmallfloretsextendedanddevelopedintopanicles.Byusingtransmissionelectronmicroscopetoobservetheultrastructureofwhitehistocytesofleavesattheseedlingstage,thewhitetissueswhichshowedabnormalplastids,lamellasandthylakoidscouldnotdevelopintonormalchloroplast,andthedevelopmentofchloroplastwasblockedattheearlygrowthstageofplastid.Scanningelectronmicroscopeandparaffinsectionwerealsousedtoobservethedevelopmentoffloralorgans,andtheresultsindicatedthatthedevelopmentoffloralmeristemwasoutoforderandunlimited,whereasinthetwistyleaves,vascularbundlesheathcellsgrewexcessively,orsomebubblycellsincreased.Geneticanalysescarriedoutbymeansofcrossandbackcrosswithfournormal-leaf-colormaterialsrevealedthatthemutantisofcytoplasminheritance.
