摘要
Inordertocomprehendtemporalpatternofthelarvaepopulationoftheyellowriceborer,Tryporyzaincertulas,andprovidevaluableinformationforitsforecastmodel,thedataseriesofthepopulationforeachgenerationandtheover-winteredlarvaefrom1960to1990inDingchengDistrict,ChangdeCity,HunanProvince,wereanalyzedwithgeostatistics.Thedataseriesoftotalnumber,the1stgeneration,the3rdgenerationandtheover-winteredlarvaeyeartoyeardisplayedratherbetterautocorrelationandprediction.Thedataseriesofgenerationtogeneration,the2ndgenerationandthe4thgenerationyeartoyear,however,demonstratedpoorautocorrelation,especiallyforthe4thgeneration,whoseautocorrelationdegreewaszero.Thepopulationdynamicsoftheyellowriceborerwasobviouslyintermittent.Aremarkablecycleoffourgenerations,oneyear,wasobservedinthepopulationofgenerationtogeneration.Omittingthecertaingenerationorinterposingtheover-winteredlarvaeonlyresultedinalessorslightchangeofautocorrelationofthewholedataseriesgenerationtogeneration.Cropsystem,food,climateandnaturalenemies,therefore,playedmoreimportantrolesinregulatingthepopulationdynamicsthanbasenumberofthelarvae.Thebasictechniquesofgeostatisticsappliedinanalyzingtemporalpopulationdynamicswereoutlined.
