简介:Thepulsedynamicsofharmonicmode-lockinginadissipativesolitonresonance(DSR)regioninanerbiumdopedfiberringlaserisinvestigatedatdifferentvaluesofanomalousdispersion.Thefiberlaserismode-lockedbyanonlinearpolarizationrotationtechnique.Byinserting0–200manomalousdispersionsingle-modefiberinthelasercavity,thecavitylengthischangedfrom17.3to217.3m,andthecorrespondingdispersionofthecavityrangesfrom-0.27to-4.67ps~2.TheobservedresultsshowthatthetuningrangeofrepetitionrateunderaharmonicDSRconditionishighlyinfluencedbythecavitydispersion.Furthermore,itisfoundthat,byautomaticallyadjustingtheirharmonicorders,thelaserscanworkatcertainvaluesofrepetitionrate,whichareindependentofthecavitylengthanddispersion.Thepulsesatthesamerepetitionrateindifferentlaserconfigurationshavesimilarproperties,demonstratingthateachachievablerepetitionraterepresentsanoperationregimeofharmonicDSRlasers.
