  • 简介:Thecrust-mantletransitionzone(CMTZ)isanimportantsiteformassandenergyexchangebetweenthelowercrustanduppermantle.SeveralkindsofCMTZexistbeneaththecontinentofChina,whichshowdifferentseismicreflectioncharacteristicsandarecomposedofdifferentrockassociations.Inthispaper,weidentifythreetypesofCMTZinthecontinentofChina.(a)TheCMTZbeneaththeTibetPlateauexhibitsagrid-shapedseismicreflectioncharacterizedbyrandomandreticularhighandlowseismicvelocitylamellae.Itisabout30kmthick,comprisingbothmaficgranulitesoflowercrustandultramaficrocksofuppermantle.SuchlithologicalassociationandseismicvelocitystructurewereinheritedfromthecrustaloverthrustandoverlappingduringtheCenozoiccollisionbetweentheIndianandEuro-Asiancontinents;Thecorrespondingcrustmovementisstillveryintenseinthisregion.(b)TheCMTZunderneathNorthChinaBlockisusuallycomposedofathinnerstrongpositivevelocitygradientlayerwithdualpropertiesintherockassociations.ThissuggeststhatthecrustisstillactiveintheNorthChinaBlockaftersignificantlithosphericthinningandthermalaccretion.(c)TheCMTZintheremainingplatformbasinsofChinaischaracterizedbyarelativelysharpseismicdiscontinuityandaclearlithologicalboundarybetweenthelowcrustanduppermantle.SuchfeaturesoftheCMTZbeneathOrdosbasincorrespondtoweakcrustalmovementafteralongperiodofisolationfromthermo-tectonicoverprinting.

  • 简介:Withthetechnologicaldevelopmentofexploitationandseparation,theprimarysourceoflithiumhasgraduallychangedfromoretobrine,whichhasbecomethemainrawmaterial,accountingformorethan80%ofthetotalproduction.Resourcesoflithium-bearingbrineareabundantinChina.Thispaperhassummarizedthespatialandtemporaldistribution,characteristics,andformationmechanismofthelithium-richbrineinChina,aimingtoprovideacomprehensivesetofguidelinesforfuturelithiumexploitationfrombrines.Lithiumbrinesusuallyexistinmodemsalinelakesanddeepundergroundsedimentaryrocksassubsurfacebrines.ThemetallogenicepochofChina'slithium-richbrinespansfromtheTriassictotheQuaternary,andthesebrinesexhibitobviousregionaldistributioncharacteristics.Modemlithium-richsalinelakesarepredominatelylocatedintheQinghai-TibetPlateau.Incomparison,thesubsurfacelithium-richbrinesaremainlydistributedinthesedimentarybasinsofSichuan,Hubei,Jiangxi,andthewesternpartoftheQaidamBasin.Lithium-richsalinelakesarechloride-enriched,sulfate-enriched,andcarbonateenriched,whilethedeeplithium-richbrinesaremainlychloride-enriched.Onthewhole,thevalueofMg/Liindeepbrineisgenerallylowerthanthatofbrineinsalinelakes.Thegenesisoflithium-richbrinesinChinaisnotuniform,generallytherearetwoprocesses,whicharerespectivelysuitableforsaltlakesanddeepbrine.

  • 简介:1.ObjectivesSouthernQinghai-northemTibetpermafrostregionisaplacehavingthemostwidespreadandmostdevelopedpermafrostinChinawithgoodmineralizationconditionsandprospectingpotentialsforgashydrate(ZhuYHetal.,2011).In2011,ChinaGeologicalSurveyinitiatedaspecialnationalprogramentitled"Gashydrateresourceexplorationandtrialmining",whichsignaledapreludetoacomprehensivegashydratesurveyinsouthernQinghai-northernTibetpermafrostregion.Sofar,appreciableprogresshasbeenmadeinthegeological,geophysical,geochemicalanddrillingsurveyacrossanumberofkeyblocks.Thispaperisintendedtoexaminethefundamentalconditionsforgashydratemineralizationbasedonpreviousfindings,delineatefavorablezonesforgashydratemineralization,andtomakecontributionstotheonshoregashydrateresourceexplorationinChina.

  • 简介:FocusingontheYangtzeRivereconomiczone,thepreviousgeologicalresearchesaresystematicallysummarized,resourcesandenvironmentconditionsandmajorgeologicalproblemswhichareneedingtobeconcernedinlandplanningandconstructionarestudied.Theresultsshowthattheresourceconditionsofcultivatedland,shalegas,geotherm,lithiumandsoonaresuperiorintheYangtzeRivereconomiczone,andtheresourcesandenvironmentconditionsareconducivetodevelopthemodernagriculture,cleanenergyindustryandstrategicemergingindustries.3×1013m^2farmlandswithoutheavymetalpollutionareconcentrated;therearethreenationallevelshalegasexplorationanddevelopmentbaseswithexploredreservesof5.441×1011m^3;geothermalavailabilityis2.4×109tofstandardcoaleachyear,equivalentto19%oftheamountofcoalin2014;Asia'slargestenergylithiummetaloredepositisfound.InsomepartsofYangtzeRivereconomiczone,therearesomemajorgeologicalproblemssuchasactivefaults,karstcollapse,groundsubsidence,landslide-collapse-debrisflow,affectingtheriver-crossingchannels,high-speedrailway,urbanagglomerationandgreenecologicalcorridorplanningandconstruction.Thoseproblemsshouldbeconcerned,andtherelevantsuggestionsandcountermeasuresareputforward.Meanwhile,theideastofurthersupportthedevelopmentoftheYangtzeRivereconomiczoneareputforward.
