简介:Loalflexibilityoftubularjointshasimportanteffectonthestaticanddynamicbehaviourofoffshoreplatforms,therefore,thedeterminationofitbecomesanimportantresearchsubjectinthefieldofoffshoreengineering.Inthispaper,thelocalflexibilityofTY-typetubularjoints,whicharewidelyusedinoffshoreplatforms,iscalculatedbyusingsemi-analyticalmethod.Basedonthecalculatedresults,parametricformulaeforevaluatingelementinthelocaljointflexibilitymatrixofTY-typetubularjointsarederivedbyregression.AtestonPVCmodelsofTY-typetubularjointstomeasurethelocaljointflexibilityisalsoreported.Acomparisonoftheresultscalculatedfromtheparametricformulaepresentedinthispaperwiththosemeasuredfromthemodeltestshowsthattheparametricformulaearereliable.Itisrecommendedthattheseformulaebeusedintheglobalstructuralanalysisofoffshoreplatforms.
