简介:Wepresentahighlyefficientmethodofgeneratingandshapingellipseperfectvectorbeams(EPVBs)withaprescribedellipseintensityprofileandcontinuouslyvariantlinearpolarizationstate.Theschemeisbasedonthecoaxialsuperpositionoftwoorthogonallypolarizedellipselaserbeamsofcontrollablephasevortexservingasthebasevectorcomponents.Thephase-onlycomputer-generatedhologramisspecificallydesignedbymeansofamodifiediterationalgorithminvolvingacomplexamplitudeconstraint,whichisabletogenerateanEPVBwithhighdiffractionefficiencyinthevectoropticalfieldgenerator.WeexperimentallydemonstratethattheefficiencyofgeneratingtheEPVBhasanotableimprovementfrom1.83%intheconventionalcomplexamplitudemodulationbasedtechniqueto11.1%inourmethod.WealsodiscussanddemonstratethesimultaneousshapingofmultipleEPVBswithindependenttunableellipticityandpolarizationvortexinbothtransversal(2D)andaxial(3D)focusingstructures,provingpotentialsinavarietyofpolarization-mediatedapplicationssuchastrappingandtransportationofparticlesinmorecomplexgeometriccircumstances.

简介:Duringeccentriccontractions,muscularforceproductioncapacityisenhancedcomparedtoisometriccontractions.Althoughthisiswellacceptedintermsofmusclemechanics,maximalvoluntaryeccentriccontractionsareassociatedwithneuralinhibitionthatpreventsincreasedforceproductionofinvivohumanmuscles.However,becauseitwasshownthatmaximalvoluntaryeccentricforcescanexceedmaximumisometricforcesbyafactorof1.2-1.4,thisreviewfocusesonthequestionofwhethertheabsenteccentricforceenhancement,asobservedinmanystudies,canunambiguouslybeattributedtoaninherentneuralinhibition.First,wedemonstratethatparticipantfamiliarization,preload,andfasciclebehaviorarecrucialfactorsinfluencingmaximalvoluntaryeccentricforceproduction.Second,weshowthatmusclemechanicssuchasmusclelength,lengtheningvelocity,andstretchamplitudeinteractwhenitcomestomaximalvoluntaryeccentricforceproduction.Finally,wediscussthedivergingfindingsonneuralinhibitionduringmaximalvoluntaryeccentriccontractions.Becausetherewasnoinhibitionofthemajormotorpathwaysinthepresenceofenhancedmaximalvoluntaryeccentricforces,furtherresearchisneededtotesttheconceptofneuralinhibitionandtounderstandwhymaximalvoluntaryforceproductionisreducedcomparedtotheforcecapacityofisolatedmusclepreparations.

简介:Naturalgashydrates(NGH)isoneofkeyfuturecleanenergyresources.Itsindustrializeddevelopmentwillhelpremitthehugedemandofglobalnaturalgas,relievetheincreasingpressureoftheenvironment,andplayavitalroleinthegreensustainablegrowthofhumansocieties.Basedonnearlytwodecades'studyingonthereservoircharacteristicsintheSouthChinaSea(SCS)andtheknowledgeofreservoirsystem,theChinaGeologicalSurvey(CGS)conductedthefirstproductiontestonanoptimaltargetselectedinShenhuareaSCSin2017.Guidedbythe"three-phasecontrol"exploitationtheorywhichfocusedonformationstabilization,technologiessuchasformationfluidextraction,welldrillingandcompleting,reservoirstimulating,sandcontrolling,environmentalmonitoring,monitoringandpreventingofsecondaryformationofhydrateswereapplied.Thetestlastedfor60daysfromMay10^thwhenstartingtopump,droppressureandignitetowellkillingonJuly9^th,withgasproductionof3.09×10^5m^3intotal,whichisaworldrecordwiththelongestcontinuousdurationofgasproductionandmaximalgasyield.ThissuccessfultestbringsasignificantbreakthroughonsafetycontrolofNGHproduction.

简介:Wepresentthedesignandexperimentofabroadbandopticalparametricchirped-pulseamplifier(OPCPA)whichprovideshighconversionefficiencyandgoodbeamqualityat808nmwavelength.Usingathree-dimensionalspatialandtemporalnumericalmodel,severaldesignconsiderationsnecessarytoachievehighconversionefficiency,goodbeamqualityandgoodoutputstabilityarediscussed.Toimprovetheconversionefficiencyandbroadentheamplifiedsignalbandwidthsimultaneously,thenonlinearcrystallengthandOPCPAparametersareanalyzedandoptimizedwiththeconceptofdissipatingamplifiedidlerbetweenopticalparametricamplification(OPA)oftwocrystalsconfiguration.Intheexperiment,anamplifierconsistingoftwoOPCPAstagesof‘L’typeconfigurationwasdemonstratedbyusingtheoptimizedparameters.Anamplifiedsignalenergyof160mJwasachievedwithatotalpump-to-signalefficiencyof35%(43%efficiencyfortheOPCPAstage2).Theoutputbandwidthofsignalpulsereached80nmandthesignalpulsewascompressedto24fs.Theenergystabilityreached1.67%RMSat3%pumpenergyvariation.TheoptimizedOPCPAamplifieroperatesatarepetitionrateof1Hzandisusedasafront-endinjectionforthemainamplifierofSG-II5PWlaserfacility.
