简介:Thispaperdealswiththeissueofprioritysettinginhealthcareunderuncertaintiesabouttheseverityoftheillnessandtheeffectivenessofmedicaltreatment.Weexaminetheeffectofadiseaseuncertainty(atreatmentuncertainty)ontheallocationofhealthcareresourcesinthepresenceofatreatmentrisk(adiseaserisk)andidentifypreferenceconditionsunderwhichthesocialplannerallocatesmoreresourcestohigherriskpopulation.Weallowforthesimultaneouspresenceoftworisksandinvestigatethejointeffectoftwo-sourceuncertaintiesonhealthcareallocationwhenthetworisksareeithersmallorpositivelyquadrantdependent.Theeffectofinequalityaversiononhealthcareallocationisalsoanalyzedbyintroducinganequityweightingfunction.Ourworkextendsthepreviousmodelofhealthcareprioritytotwo-riskframeworkandprovidesnewinsightsintotheproblemofhealthcaredecisionmakingunderuncertainty.
简介:Asanadvancedprocessdetectiontechnology,electricalimpedancetomography(EIT)haswideapplicationprospectsandadvantagesinmedicalimagingdiagnosis.However,aseriesofissuesneedtobeaddressedbeforeapplyingEITforbedsidemonitoring.Medicaldiagnosisandbedsidemonitoringaredynamicmeasuringprocess,wherethepositionsofmeasuringelectrodesandtheshapeofthedetectedfieldarechangingdynamical.Duetotheinabilitytocopewiththechangeableelectrodepositionsandvariousdynamicfields,existingEITsystemsaremainlyusedforindustrialdetectioninconditionofstaticmeasurementandvisualization.Inthispaper,weinvestigatethedynamicmeasurementandvisualizationofhumanbreastinEITfield,describethedesignofthemeasuringsensorsystem,andexpoundthemeasuringprinciple.Themaincomponentofthehardwaresystemisabuiltinservoelectricalresistancetomographysensorwithcapacitiveslidingrod,whichcanadapttothecrowdofdifferentchestcontourandthechangeofchestshapeinthedynamicprocessofbreathing.Thecorrespondingmeasuringprincipleisextractingallreal-timepositionsofmeasuringelectrodes,thenobtainingthedynamicboundary,finallydividingthedetectionfieldrapidly.Experimentalresultsconfirmedthattheproposedsystemcanobtainreal-timelocationofboundarysensoranddynamicallysolvetheproblemofarbitrary-shapeboundarymeasurement.Theimagingresultsvalidatetheavailabilityofdesignedsensorsystemandtheeffectivenessofthecorrespondingmeasuringprinciple.
