简介:ThereisdifficultyfordistinguishingofriverandshadowinSyntheticApertureRadar(SAR)images.AmethodofriversegmentationinSARimagesbasedonwaveletenergyandgradientisproposedinthispaper.Itmainlyincludestwoalgorithms:coarsesegmentationandrefinedsegmen-tation.Firstly,Theriverregionsarecoarselysegmentedbythewaveletenergyfeature,andthenrefinedsegmentedaccuratelybythegradientthresholdwhichisgotadaptively.Theexperimentalresultsshowthevalidityofthemethod,whichprovidesagoodfoundationfortargetsdetectionabovetheriver.
简介:MainstreamlineissignificantfortheYellowRiversituationforecastingandfloodcontrol.Aneffectivestatisticalfeatureextractionmethodisproposedinthispaper.Inthismethod,abetween-classscatteringmatrixbasedprojectionalgorithmisperformedtomaximizebetween-classdifferences,obtainingeffectivecomponentforclassification;thenhigh-orderstatisticsareutilizedasthefeaturestodescribethemainstreamlineintheprincipalcomponentobtained.Experimentsareperformedtoverifytheapplicabilityofthealgorithm.TheresultsbothonsynthesizedandrealscenesindicatethatthisapproachcouldextractthemainstreamlineoftheYellowRiverautomatically,andhasahighprecisioninmainstreamlinedetection.
