简介:Inordertorealizethemodulardesignofthemicrogrid,thispaperproposedanewmodulartopologyfortheAC-DCmixedmicrogrid.Inthattopology,theACmicrogridunitandtheDCmicrogridunitwerepackagedtogetherbytheback-to-backconverter.Thebattery-supercapacitorhybridenergystoragesystemwasconnectedtotheDCbusofback-to-backconverter.Bythereasonabledesignonthebattery-supercapacitorhybridsystem,theenergystoragesystemcouldsupplytherapidpowerandenergysupportforthemicrogridspontaneously.Themathematicalmodelandthecontrolalgorithmofthatmicrogridtopologywerestudied.Bythesimulationanalysis,itcanbeconcludedthatAC-DCmixedmodularmicrogridtopologycouldoperatesteadilyonboththegrid-connectedmodeandtheisolatedmode.Furthermore,wecanconcludebythesimulationthatthedesignedmodularmicrogridcouldoperateuninterruptedwhenthemicrogridtopologyswitchedfromthegrid-connectedmodetotheisolatedmode.Theseamlessswitchingbecamethenaturalpropertyforthemodularmicrogrid.Asaresult,themodularmicrogridtopologycanbeconsideredasausualpower/loadmoduletorealizethefriendlypowerinteractionwiththepowergrid.

简介:Thebacktrackingsearchoptimizationalgorithm(BSA)isoneofthemostrecentlyproposedpopulation-basedevolutionaryalgorithmsforglobaloptimization.Duetoitsmemoryabilityandsimplestructure,BSAhaspowerfulcapabilitytofindglobaloptimalsolutions.However,thealgorithmisstillinsufficientinbalancingtheexplorationandtheexploitation.Therefore,animprovedadaptivebacktrackingsearchoptimizationalgorithmcombinedwithmodifiedHooke-Jeevespatternsearchisproposedfornumericalglobaloptimization.Ithastwomainparts:theBSAisusedfortheexplorationphaseandthemodifiedpatternsearchmethodcompletestheexploitationphase.Inparticular,asimplebuteffectivestrategyofadaptingoneofBSA’simportantcontrolparametersisintroduced.TheproposedalgorithmiscomparedwithstandardBSA,threestate-of-the-artevolutionaryalgorithmsandthreesuperioralgorithmsinIEEECongressonEvolutionaryComputation2014(IEEECEC2014)oversixwidely-usedbenchmarksand22real-parametersingleobjectivenumericaloptimizationbenchmarksinIEEECEC2014.Theresultsofexperimentandstatisticalanalysisdemonstratetheeffectivenessandefficiencyoftheproposedalgorithm.
简介:Ahybridmethodforsynthesizingantenna’sthreedimensional(3D)patternisproposedtoobtainthelowsidelobefeatureoftruncatedconeconformalphasedarrays.Inthismethod,theelementsoftruncatedconeconformalphasedarraysareprojectedtothetangentplaneinonegeneratrixofthetruncatedcone.Thentwodimensional(2D)Chebyshevamplitudedistributionoptimizationisrespectivelyusedintwomutualverticaldirectionsofthetangentplane.Accordingtothelocationoftheelements,theexcitationcurrentamplitudedistributionofeachelementontheconformalstructureisderivedreversely,thentheexcitationcurrentamplitudeisfurtheroptimizedbyusingthegeneticalgorithm(GA).Atruncatedconeproblemwith8×8elementsonit,anda3Dpatterndesiredsidelobelevel(SLL)upto35dB,isstudied.Byusingthehybridmethod,theoptimalgoalisaccomplishedwithacceptableCPUtime,whichindicatesthatthishybridmethodforthelowsidelobesynthesisisfeasible.
