简介:Owingtoacertainangleexistingbetweenabeltconveyorandtheparallelhoppers,andthehopperslocalizingawayfromthecenterlinesofablastfurnace,particlessizesegregationislikelytohappeninabell-lesstopblastfurnacewithparallelhoppers.Masteringthelawofparticlessizesegregationinhopperscouldhelptochoosebetterchargingparametersandoptimizeproductionandtechnicalindices.Asforthepreviousworksonburdensegregationatabell-lesstopblastfurnacewithparallelhoppers,moreattentionwaspaidtothefallingpointsegregationandthecircumferentialmassflowsegregationwhilechargingfromthetiltingchute,butignoringtheparticlesizesegregationinburdenhoppersasburdenfallsfromabeltconveyor,whichistherightbasisofanalyzingtheformer,andplaysasignificantroleincontrollingthegasdistributionintheblastfurnace.Thepresentworktakesternarymixturesofcokeinthreedifferentparticlesizestosimulatethesizesegregationofthecokechargedintothehoppersbyexperiments.Theeffectofthemainstrikingpointonsizesegregationisalsoinvestigated.TheresearchshowsthatthereexistsagoodlinearrelationbetweensegregationcoefficientkandthedimensionlessmainstrikingpointwhenusingtheequationC=C0ktoexpressthedegreeofsizesegregationinhoppers.Thelinearrelationisproposedforthefirsttimeandprovidesanewwaytopredictthesizesegregationinhoppers,whichformsatheoreticalbasisandtechnicalsupportforreducingthesizesegregationdegreeinhoppers.
