简介:Inthepastdecades,twolargescalecoastalengineeringprojectshavebeencarriedoutintheDeepBaysurroundedbyShenzhenCityandHongKongSpecialAdministrativeRegion.OneprojectisShenzhenRiverchannelregulationandtheotheristheseareclamationalongtheseashoreontheShenzhenside.Thetwoprojectsareveryclosetothetwonationalnaturereserves,specificallyFutianinShenzhenandMaiPoinHongKong,whichareimportantwetlandecosystemsworldwide.ThispaperaimstoidentifyandmonitorthemangrovewetlandchangeswithtimeseriesofLandsatThematicMapperimagespreandposttothetwoengineeringprojectsbeinglaunched.Coupledanalysisoftheimageinterpretationresultsandtidaldataacquiredatthesametimeinthecontextofthetwoworksrevealsthatthemangrovewetlandareahasincreasedfromyear1989to1994,andhaschangedlittlefromyear1994to2002.Binarycodingisappliedtorevealthedistributionimageofmangroveateachphase,andthecodingimageshowsthattheconstructionofthetwocoastalengineeringprojectshascausedfrequentchangesinmangrovespatialdistribution.Thestudyalsoshowsthatthechangeisnotsignificantregardingtotheprecisionofthemethodandthenaturalevolutionofmangrovewetland,andtheprojectsdonotcauseapparentlyinfluencesuponthetwonationalmangroveconservationzonesatleastfortheresearchtimeperiod.
简介:ThesouthernLaizhouBayismainlycomposedofsilt-sandycoastswithdiverselandforms,anditsmarinehydrodynamicenvironmentissensitivetohumanactivities.Marinehydrodynamicandsedimentaryenvironmentsofthestudyareahavechangedundertheinfluenceoflarge-scaleportprojectsinrecentyears.Inthispaper,theevolutionofhydrodynamicenvironment,depositionrate,andgeochemicalcharacteristicswerestudiedbasedonsedimentgrainsize,elementanalysisand210Pbdatingoftwocores,inordertoanalyzetheinfluenceofWeifangPortonmarineenvironmentalevolution,andprovidetheoreticalandpracticalbasisforprotectingmarineenvironmentindevelopingmarineresourcesreasonably.Resultsshowedthatsedimentsofthetwocoreswererelativelycoarserandmainlycomposedofsiltysand.Sedimentsabove230cmincoreWF1and218cmincoreWF2weredepositedsince1855whentheYellowRiverappearedtodeposititssedimentswithinthemodernactivedelta,andtheaveragedepositionratewasbetween0.3and0.5cma-1.ImplementofWeifangPortprojectsin1997and2007createdgreatinfluenceonthesedimentaryenvironmentevolutioninthesurroundingwaters,andthedepositionratewassignificantlyincreased.Theaverageannualdepositionrateswere5.1cmand3.5cminWF1andWF2respectivelybetween1997and2007.Contentofheavymetalsinsedimentsshowednoobviouschangeinthevertical,indicatingthattheheavymetalswerelessaffectedbyhumanactivityandtherewasnosignificantaccumulationofsuchmetalsinthestudyarea.
