简介:Therearetwotypesoffloatingbridgesuchasdiscrete-pontoonfloatingbridgesandcontinuous-pontoonfloatingbridges.Analyticalmodelsofbothfloatingbridgessubjectedbymovingloadsarepresentedtostudythedynamicresponseswithhydrodynamicinfluencecoefficientsfordifferentwaterdepths.Thebeamtheoryandpotentialtheoryareintroducedtoproducethemodels.ThehydrodynamiccoefficientsanddynamicresponsesofbridgesareevaluatedbytheboundaryelementmethodandbytheGalerkinmethodofweightedresiduals,respectively.Consideringcausalrelationshipbetweenthefrequenciesoftheoscillationoffloatingbridgesandtheaddedmasscoefficients,aniterationmethodisintroducedtocomputehydrodynamicfrequencies.Theresultsindicatethatwaterdepthhaslittleinfluenceuponthedynamicresponsesofbothtypesoffloatingbridges,sothattheeffectofwaterdepthcanbeneglectedduringthecourseofdesigningfloatingbridges.
