简介：Inthispaper,thebendingproblemofrectangularthinplateswithfreeedgeslaidontensionlessWinklerfoundationhasbeensolvedbyemployingFourierserieswithsupplementaryterms.Byassumingproperformofseriesfordeflection,thebasicdifferentialequationwithgivenboundaryconditionscanbetransformedintoasetofinfinitealgebraicequations.Becausetheboundaryofcontactregioncannotbedeterminedinadvance.theseequationsareweaknonlinearones.Theycanbesolvedbyusingiterativeprocedures.
