摘要 Inrecentyears,intravascularultrasound(IVUS)follow-upisalwaysusedintheevaluationofthedevelopmentofatherosclerosis,anditcanalsobeusedastheendpointofdrugtherapyinclinicalobservation.Since1994,thefirststatinlipid-lowering4Sexperimentresultswasreported,thefollowingstatinforlipid-loweringtestsrepresentedbyREVERSALPROVE-IT,TNT,IDEAL,ASTEROIDandJUPITERstronglyconfirmedthatfurtherreducetheefficacyoflow-densitylipoproteincholesterol(LDL-C)(toenhancethelipid-loweringtreatment)accesstoincreaseeffectofthecardiovascularprotectionandalsoreversetheplaques'progress.Butscholars'opinionsonthemeritsanddemeritsofenhancestatincholesterol-loweringtherapyhasbeenindebate.Wereviewtherecentworkonstatinsandreversalofarterialplaquesforanumberofclinicalstudies.
