摘要
Inthenext5to10years,theworldmaywellseetwo'risings'-therisingofthedevelopingcountriesasagroup,andtherisingofAsia-Pacificasaregion.Theworldgeopoliticalpicturewouldshifteastwardsaccordingly.Ontheworldstrategicmap,thedevelopingcountriesandtheAsia-PacificregionwouldholdasuperiorpositionandthedevelopedcountriesandtheEuro-Atlanticwouldhavearelativelyinferiorposition.Assuch,wewillseealotofchangesintheconceptofgeopolitics.ToChina,thesechangespresentbothopportunitiesandchallenges.TheauthorbelievesthatChinashouldkeeptoitsstrategicguidelines,i.e.'risingpeacefully'and'keepingalowprofile',putitsgeo-strategicattentionontheAsia-Pacific,activelycreateanenvironmentfavorabletoitsdevelopment,andeventuallymakeitspeacefulrisingareality.
