摘要
BasedonMM5,POM,andWW3,aregionalatmosphere-ocean-wavecoupledsystemisdevelopedinthisworkundertheenvironmentofMessagePassingInterface.ThecoupledsystemisappliedinastudyoftwotyphoonprocessesintheSouthChinaSea(SCS).Theresultsshowthatthecoupledmodeloperatessteadilyandefficientlyandexhibitsgoodcapabilityinsimulatingtyphoonprocesses.Itimprovesthesimulationaccuracyofthetrackandintensityofthetyphoon.Theresponseofoceansurfacetothetyphoonisremarkable,especiallyontherightsideofthetyphoontrack.Theseasurfacetemperature(SST)declines,andtheoceancurrentandwaveheightareintensified.Inthecouplingexperiment,thedeclineofSSTintensifiesandtheinertialoscillationamplitudeoftheoceancurrentincreaseswhentheocean-waveeffectisconsidered.Therefore,theatmosphere-ocean-wavecoupledsystemcanhelpinthestudyofair-seainteractionandimprovethecapabilityofpredictingandpreventingweatherandoceanicdisastersinSCS.
