摘要 Theboilerisoneofthekeypartsofpowerstation.Monitoringtheoperationoftheboilerautomatically,continuouslyandaccuratelyisveryimportant.Incaseofmalfunctions,anexpertsystemmightbehelpfultofindthesourcesoffaults,andthereafterwillassisttheoperatortoactcorrectlyandtopreventthefaultfromfurtherdevelopment.Inthispaper,asimulationstudyofanexpertsystem,whichcandiagnosetherunningfaultsofboilersystem,isconducted.Shallowanddeeptwo-layerknowledgebasestructureisusedinthistwolayersofknowledgebase.So.thiskindofexpertsystemcanovercomethedisadvantagesoftheoldtypesofexpertsystems,whichareonlyabletodealwithexperiencerulesbase.Asimulatorofpowerboilerisusedfortheresearchonfaultdiagnoseexpertsystem.Thisboilersimulatorgivesallnecessaryinformationforthediagnosis.Theknowledgebaseofexpertsystemisbuiltinhierarchies,sothespeedofreasoningmaybeinvreased.Afterthereasoningthesys
