摘要 Thispaperintroducesthefundamentalprincipleandfeaturesofmagneto-opticalstoragetechnology,anddiscusesthetrendandaseriesofkeytechniquesforincreasingthedatastoragedensityofmagneto-opticaldisk.ThethreewaysincludingMOmedia,recordingmethodandreadoutmethodforincreasingthediskcapacityhavebeendiscussed.Moreover,theimportancewiththeexchange-coupledeffectbetweenthemagneticlayersandrecordingdomainmorphologyisemphasized.
