摘要
Wereporttheadsorptionofphosphateanddiscussthemechanismsofphosphateremovalfromaqueoussolutionbyburstfurnaceslag(BFS)andsteelfurnaceslag(SFS).Theresultsshowthattheadsorptionofphosphateontheslagwasrapidandthemajorityofadsorptionwascompletedin5~10min.Theadsorptioncapacityofphosphatebytheslagwasreduceddramaticallybyacidtreatment.Therelativecontributionofadsorptiontothetotalremovalofphosphatewas26%~28%.PhosphateadsorptiononBFSandSFSfollowstheFreundlichisotherm,withtherelatedconstantsofk6.372and1/n1.739forBFS,andofk1.705and1/n1.718forSFS.ThepHandCa2+concentrationweredecreasedwiththeadditionofphosphate,suggestingtheformationofcalciumphosphateprecipitation.AtpH2.93and6.93,phosphatewasdesorbedbyabout36%~43%and9%~11%,respectively.TheseresultsindicatethatthePadsorptionontheslagisnotcompletelyreversibleandthatthebondbetweentheslagparticlesandadsorbedphosphateisstrong.TheX-raydiffraction(XRD)patternsofBFSandSFSbeforeandafterphosphateadsorptionverifytheformationofphosphatesalts(CaHPO4·2H2O)afteradsorptionprocess.WeconcludethattheremovalofphosphatebyBFSandSFSisrelatedtotheformationofphosphatecalciumprecipitationandtheadsorptiononhydroxylatedoxides.TheresultsshowthatBFSandSFSremovedphosphatenearly100%,indicatingtheyarepromisingadsorbentsforthephosphateremovalinwastewatertreatmentandpollutioncontrol.
