摘要
Anacousticpressureamplifier(APA)iscapableofimprovingthematchbetweenathermoacousticengineandaloadbyelevatingpressureratioandacousticpoweroutput.Astanding-wavethermoacousticenginedrivingaresistance-and-compliance(RC)loadthroughanAPAwassimulatedwithlinearthermoacousticstostudytheimpactofloadimpedanceontheperformanceofthethermoacousticsystem.Basedonthesimulationresults,analysisfocusesonthedistributionofpressureamplitudeandvelocityamplitudeinAPAwithanRCloadofdiverseacousticresistancesandcomplianceimpedances.Variationofoperatingparameters,includingpressureratio,acousticpower,hotendtemperatureofstack,etc.,versusimpedanceoftheRCloadispresentedandanalyzedaccordingtotheabovementioneddistribution.Averifyingexperimenthasbeenperformed,whichindicatesthatthesimulationcanroughlypredictthesystemoperationinthefundamental-frequencymode.
