摘要
Weusetheincrementalunknownsmethodinconjunctionwiththeiterativemethodstoapproximatethesolutionofthenonsymmetricandpositive-definitelinearsystemsgeneratedfromamultileveldiscretizationofthree-dimensionalconvection-diffusionequations.Theconditionnumbersofincrementalunknownsmatricesassociatedwiththeconvection-diffusionequationsandthenumberofiterationsneededtoattainanacceptableaccuracyareestimated.Numericalresultsarepresentedwithtwo-levelapproximations,whichdemonstratethattheincrementalunknownsmethodwhencombinedwithsomeiter-ativemethodsisveryeffcient.
