摘要
Theadsorptionisothermsoffouractivatedcarbons(NoritRB1,ChemvironBPL,Monolit,andAmbersorb-572)havebeenexaminedbynitrogenadsorptionat77.5K.Amethodforadsorptionpotentialdistributioncalculationhasbeenproposedbasedontheadsorptionisotherms.ThisdistributionprovidesinformationaboutpossiblechangesintheGibbsfreeenergycausedbytheenergeticandgeometricalheterogeneitiesofanactivatedcarbonaswellasbytheadsorbate-relatedentropiceffects.Thegeneralcharacteroftheadsorptionpotentialdistributionisclearlyvisiblebyitssimplerelationtothemicroporeandmesoporedistribution.
