摘要
Anembeddedcylinderisalarge-diametercylinderembeddedinasoilfoundation.Thestateoffailureofsuchanembeddedcylindricalstructureshowslargedeflectioninsteadofslideandoverturnofthetraditionalgravitytypeofstructureplacedonarubblebaseorfoundationbase.Thecriticalvalueofdeflectionoftheembeddedcylindricalstructure,whichisthemaximumallowabledeflectionforstabilitycalculationofthecylinder,isavitalcontrolvalue.Throughinvestigationondeflectionandsoilpressuresonanembeddedcylinderbymodelexperiments,thevariationsoftheangleofrotationθofacylinderwitheffectiveanti-overturningratioηandmomentMHofthrustarediscussed.Onthebasisofexperimentalstudy,thecriticalvalueofdeflectionofthecylindricalstructureisproposedinthepaper.Meanwhile,theformulasforcalculatingdeflectionofcylindersarederived.
