摘要
Multidisciplinaryfeasiblemethod(MDF)isconventionalmethodtomultidisciplinaryoptimization(MDO)andwell-understoodbyusers.Itreducesthedimensionsofthemultidisciplinaryoptimizationproblembyusingthedesignvariablesasindependentoptimizationvariables.However,ateachiterationoftheconventionaloptimizationprocedure,multidisciplinaryanalysis(MDA)isnumerouslyperformedthatresultsinextremeexpenseandlowoptimizationefficiency.TheintrinsicweaknessofMDFisduetothetimesthatitloopfixed-pointiterationsinMDA,whichdriveustoimproveMDFbybuildinginexpensiveapproximationsassurrogatesforexpensiveMDA.AnsimpleexampleispresentedtodemonstratetheusefulnessoftheimprovedMDF.ResultsshowthatasignificantreductioninthenumberofmultidisciplinaryanalysisrequiredforoptimizationisobtainedascomparedwithoriginalMDFandtheefficiencyofoptimizationisincreased.
