EFFECT OF AERATOR ON HYDRAULIC DRAG ACTING ON A CHUTE

摘要 Theformulaeusedtocalculatethefrictioninthenon-uniformflowchutewereexaminedwiththeexperimentaldata,andtheresultsshowthattheaccuracyoftheformulaisenoughforengineeringapplications.Acomparisonbetweentheresultsoffrictionrespectivelyfromtheuniformflowassumptionandthenon-uniformflowapproximationindicatesthattheformerisanorderofmagnitudelargerthanthelatterinthecaseofsteepchute.Thehydraulicdragonasteepchutewithaeratorswasmeasuredonthehydraulicmodeldirectlyandthecoefficientoftheaeratoreffectonthedragwasobtained.Thevariationpatternsofthewallshearjustdownstreamoftheaeratorswereinvestigatedandthemechanismoftheincreaseinthedragbyaeratorwereanalyzedqualitativelywiththemeasuredwater-depthsjustdownstreamtheaerators.
