摘要
Miningandsmeltingactivitiesarethemaincausesfortheincreasingpollutionofheavymetalsinsoil,waterbodyandstreamsediment.Anenvironmentalgeochemicalinvestiga-tionwascarriedoutinandaroundthePanzhihuaminingandsmeltingareatodeterminetheex-tentofchemicalcontaminationinsoilandsediment.Themainobjectiveofthisstudywastoin-vestigatetheenvironmentalgeochemistryofTi,V,Cr,Mn,Cu,Pb,ZnandAsinsoilandsedimentandtoassessthedegreeofpollutioninthestudyarea.Thedataofheavymetalcon-centrationsrevealthatsoilsandsedimentsintheareahavebeenslightlycontaminated.Geo-chemicalmapsofIgeoofeachheavymetalshowthatthecontaminatedsitesarelocatedinV-Ti-magnetiteslopingandsmelting,ganguesdam.Thepollutionsourcesoftheselectedelementscomemainlyfromdustsresultantfromminingactivitiesandotherthree-waste-effluents.Theareaneedstobemonitoredregularlyfortracemetal,especiallyheavymetalenrichment.
