摘要
Wedemonstrateanultra-low-thresholdphononlaserusingacoupled-microtoroid-cavitysystembyintroducinganovelcouplingapproach.Theschemeexhibitsbothhighopticalqualityfactorsandhighmechanicalqualityfactors.Wehaveexperimentallyobtainedthemechanicalqualityfactorupto18,000invacuumforaradialbreathingmodeof59.2MHz.Themeasuredphononlasingthresholdisaslowas1.2μW,whichis~5timeslowerthanthepreviousresult.
