摘要
AreviewarticlebyHaoetal.(JAmCollCardiol2017;69(24):2952–66)hashadhugerepercussionsamongthosefamiliarwithtraditionalChinesemedicine(TCM)intheinternationalacademiccommunity.ItevaluatedtheefficacyandsafetyofTCMforcardiovasculardiseaseandthepharmacologicaleffectofactiveTCMingredientsonthecardiovascularsystemandpotentialmechanisms.Wehaveseveralcomments:Firstly,wegiveabriefsummaryaddressingnonpharmacotherapyinTCM,includingacupuncture,moxibustion,Qigong,andTaiChi.Secondly,wehaveaddedtraditionalantiarrhythmicdrug–relatedrandomizedcontrolledtrialstomakethecoveragemorecomprehensive.Lastly,wesupporttheconceptthatresearchinto,developmentof,andapplicationofactiveingredientsispartofmodernTCM.
