Epidemicsstillhappen,beingtheannualinfluenzaoutbreaksexamplesofsuchoccurrences.Toestimatetheepidemicperiodlengthisimperativebecause,inthisperiod,itisnecessarytostrengthenthehealthcare,throughextraavailabilityinhumanandmaterialresources.So,ahugeincreaseofexpensesoccurs.Asapandemicisanepidemicwithagreatpopulationandgeographicaldissemination,moreappropriatelythishappenswiththepandemicperiod.MainlyusingresultsontheM|G|∞queuebusyperiod,itispresentedanapplicationofthisqueuesystemtothepandemicperiod’sparametersanddistributionfunctionstudy.
