摘要 TightzonesofthegasbearingKanganandDalanformationsoftheSouthParsgasfieldcontainaconsiderableamountofunsweptgasduetotheirlowporosity,lowpermeabilityandisolatedporetypes.Thecurrentstudy,integratescoredata,rockelasticpropertiesand3Dseismicattributestodelineatetightandlow-reservoir-qualityzonesoftheSouthParsgasfield.Inthefirststep,thedynamicreservoirgeomechanicalparameterswerecalculatedbasedonempiricalrelationshipsfromwelllogdata.Thelog-derivedelasticmoduliwerevalidatedwiththeavailablelaboratorymeasurementsofcoredata.CrossplotsbetweenestimatedporosityandelasticparametersbasedonYoung'smodulusindicatethatlowporosityzonecoincidewithhighvaluesofYoung'smodule.Theresultswerevalidatedwithpetrographicstudiesoftheavailablethinsections.Thecoresampleswithlowporosityandpermeabilityarecorrelatedwithstrongrockswithtightmatrixframeworksandhighelasticvalues.Subsequently,rockelasticpropertiesincludingYoung'smodulusandPoisson'sratioalongwithporositywereestimatedbyusingneuralnetworksfromacollectionof3Dpost-stackseismicattributes,suchasacousticimpedance(AI),instantaneousphaseofAIandapparentpolarity.Distinguishinglowreservoirqualityareasinpayzoneswithunsweptgasisthenfacilitatedbylocatinglowporosityandhighelasticmodulusvalues.Anhydritezonesareidentifiedandeliminatedasnon-payzonesduetotheircharacterizationofzeroporosityandhighYoungmodulusvalues.Themethodologydescribedhasapplicationsforunconventionalreservoirsmoregenerally,becauseitisabletodistinguishlowporosityandpermeabilityzonesthatarepotentiallyproductivefromthoseunprospectivezoneswithnegligiblereservoirquality.
