摘要 Radiosondeprofilesoftemperatureanddewpointtemperaturefromonestationareusedtoforecast12-hprecipita-tionoverNairobi,Kenya.Theforecastschemeisbasedonstatisticalregressionmodelling.Fourpredictorsarederivedfromdatatouseinaprognosticequationtoget12-hprecipitationforecast.Observedandpredictedrainfallvaluesareplottedonagraphagainsttime.Forecastverificationshowsthattheforecastsarepositivelycorrelatedwithobservations.
