摘要
TheCSU-RAMS-2AwasusedtosimulatethemeteorologicalfieldsovertheZhujiangRiverDeltainSouthChina.Initializedfromahorizontallyhomogeneousatmosphere,realtopographyandinhomogeneoussurfaceboundarycondi-tions,themodelwasrunwiththermalandterrainforcing.Themodelingresultsofwinterandsummercasesarecom-paredwiththoseobserved.Thesimilarityofthepredicteddistributionsofwinds,temperaturesandhumiditiestotheob-servedpatternspermitsustoconcludethatthemesoscaledistributionofmeteorologicalelementsforthetwostudydatesistheresultofthethermalanddynamicalforcingbytheunderlyingsurfaceandtopography.
