摘要
Theballoon-basedcathetersareattractivefortheminimallyinvasiveproceduresbecausethesecatheterscanbeconfiguredtomatchrequirementsonsizeandshapefortheinteractionwiththesofttissue.Ananalyticalmechanicmodelisdevelopedforthedeformedballoontodeterminetheshapeoftheinflatedcatheter.Thebridgesalonglatitudinaldirectionshouldbehighstretchableduetothehighelongationalongthelatitudeoftheinflatablecatheter.Theseresultsagreewellwiththefiniteelementmethodwithoutanyparameterfitting.
