摘要
Non-destructivetesting(NDT)hasbeenwidelyusedinmanyfields,wecaneasilyseeitisbeingusedinshipbuilding,aerospace,weaponsmanufacturingandsoon.ICTisoneofthebestnondestructivetestingmethodscurrently,butithasnotbeenusedwidely,becauseitrequiresmuchcomputeandcostsmuchtime.Defectlocationisoneofthemostimportantprocessingstepsinthedigitalimageanalysis.Defectlocationwouldcorrespondinglyreducethetimespentinthetesting.Wemayonlyrequirelocatingthedefectsinsomecase.So,wedividetheCTimagesintoseverallittleblockswhichthesquareisequal,andthencalculatethefractaloneachblock.Bydeterminingthevalueandconnectedregionnumberofthefractaldimension,wecanlocatedefectsoftheimage.Theresultsshowthattheblockfractaldimensionisausefulandtime-savingdefectlocationmethod.
