摘要
Theoptimalestimationperformanceoftargetparametersisstudied.First,thegeneralformofCramer-Raobound(CRB)forjointestimationoftargetlocationandvelocityisderivedforcoherentmultipleinputmultipleoutput(MIMO)radars.TogainsomeinsightintothebehavioroftheCRB,theCRBwithasetofgivenorthogonalwaveformsisstudiedasaspecificcase.Second,amaximumlikelihood(ML)estimationalgorithmisproposed.Themeansquareerror(MSE)oftheMLestimationoftargetlocationandvelocityisobtainedbyMonteCarlosimulationanditapproachesCRBinthehighsignal-to-noiseratio(SNR)region.
